Jurisdiction 

By using our Website, you agree that any dispute relating to the collection or use of information shall be governed by the laws of India. Jurisdiction for any claims arising under this policy shall lie exclusively with the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.  

Delivery & Exchange Policy – House of Solaura 

Shipping Within India 

We ship across India. Every Solaura garment is made-to-order and handcrafted at our Chennai-based workshop. Upon receiving your order, we begin production which typically takes 10-12 business days. Once completed, your product is delivered. 

Standard shipping timelines for domestic orders are 5-6 business days from the date of dispatch. 

If you require time-bound or expedited delivery, we strongly recommend contacting us before placing your order. Reach out with your order number and expected delivery date, and we will do our best to accommodate your request at an additional express shipping charge. 

All prices displayed on the Website for domestic deliveries are inclusive of applicable taxes. 

International Shipping 

We ship worldwide. International orders are also made-to-order and require 4-5 business days for production before dispatch. 

Delivery timelines for international orders range between 15–20 business days, depending on your location and local customs processing. 

Please note that all international shipments are sent on a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis. This means the recipient is responsible for paying any import duties, taxes, or local handling charges levied by the destination country. These fees are not included in the product price.

Exchange Policy 

At Solaura, each piece is custom made, and therefore we do not accept returns under any circumstances. 

We only accept exchanges if: 

  • The product delivered is defective, or 
  • You received an incorrect item. 

To initiate an exchange, you must: 

  1. Email us at houseofsolaura@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving the order. 
  1. Provide a clear and continuous unboxing video that shows the defect or incorrect item at the time of opening. 

Without an unboxing video, we will not be able to process any exchange request. Upon approval of your request, we will coordinate with you for the return and dispatch of a replacement item. Exchanges will only be made for the same item or for another item of equal or greater value. 

Solaura reserves the right to refuse an exchange if: 

  • The product has been used or damaged after delivery. 
  • The original tags and packaging are missing. 
  • There is no unboxing video provided as evidence. 

Please note: Altered, customized, or discounted items are final sale and are not eligible for exchange. 

Order Cancellation Policy 

Since our products are made to order, we do not accept cancellations once an order has been placed. 

In rare cases where we are unable to fulfill an order (due to insufficient materials, quality control failure, or unavailability), we reserve the right to cancel such orders. If that happens, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method within 7–10 business days. 

Sale Items 

Items purchased at a discounted rate or marked “On Sale” are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange. 

Additionally, credit notes issued before a sale period cannot be applied to discounted items during the sale. 

 Product Quality Disclaimer 

At Solaura, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship. However, due to the nature of natural fabrics and handcrafting, slight variations in color, weave, or finish may occur and are not considered defects. 

Our garments are not covered for issues arising from normal wear, stretching, shrinkage, fading, or improper care.
